China
The philosophy.
The manufacturing.
The 理 carried on the watch.
The Prologue was intentionally made in China. It is where the philosophy of Li was born and where a deeply capable manufacturing ecosystem brought the watch into physical form.
XLI23
The World Behind the Watch
Meaningful things are rarely made in one place.
Not one origin, but the right one at every step.
THE WORLD BEHIND THE WATCH
Not one origin, but the right one at every step.
Japan
Mechanical precision at its heart.
The Miyota 9039 automatic movement was chosen for reliability, precision and serviceability.
Colombia
Part of the first lines and ideas.
Colombia represents the form and visual direction that eventually became the first watch.
Not every place involved in creating an object appears on a specification sheet. Some contribute through manufacturing, others through engineering.
Colombia is part of that design history.
Italy
Where the watch takes its final form.
Italy forma part of that design journey and the final stage of the prologue. The watch is assembled in Italy, bringing together components produces across different places into the finished object.
It's role reflects something central to XLI23: origin does not need to be singular. Different capabilities can come together without one needing to replace the others.
The Netherlands
The technology base moving XLI23
The Netherlands is where the digital side of XLI23 is built and managed. The systems that manage the brand come all together here.
The Netherlands is where the brand is translated digitally and connects XLI23 to the world.
Dubai
The point from which XLI23 is carried outward.
Dubai is the place from which XLI23 is carried to the world.
More importantly, it is a natural setting for a brand built around intersection. People, cultures, and ideas from different places operate alongside one another every day.
Dubai reflects the logic behind the X in XLI23. Different worlds meeting without having to become the same.
Lebanese resilience in its DNA.
The origin is everywhere.
That was always the point.
